Swing Central is a swing dance social with an introductory class held on the second Friday of each month. 7-7.30 - class ($20 including social) 7.30-10.30 - social dancing ($15) Location: St Stephen’s Church Hall 189 Church Street, Newtown Tickets: pay at the door with card (preferred) or cash. Come to Swing Central to get your weekend started right with a short introductory swing dance class followed by social dancing with talented local DJs. Bust out your favourite lindy hop and balboa (or even solo jazz and collegiate shag) moves to all the best swinging jazz tunes. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to the most experienced dancers. Swing Central is a safe and inclusive place for everyone. We ask all attendees to observe the Swing Patrol Code of Conduct. Get ready to swing out!
