No matter the age, no matter the skill level, we want you to join us for a fun weekly dance event in downtown Lake Geneva.

7:30 - 9 PM - Social Dancing

Lake Geneva Swing hosts social dance events and everyone is welcome no matter the skill level.
We encourage asking one another to dance regardless of if you're a lead or a follow. Plus, dancing with new partners is one of the best ways to refine our dancing skills. However, we understand not everyone is comfortable switching partners and it is not required.

Wear something comfortable you can move easily in. You can get warm dancing, so think of something that you’ll stay cool in. Clean shoes which slide across the wood floor are best for dancing (easier on the knees too!)

Just yourself, come as you are, and maybe a water bottle? Your choice. In the winter, please bring a change of shoes.

Parking is available in front of Horticulture Hall on Broad Street. (hint hint: free parking in Lake Geneva starts at 7pm )

Swing dance can be performed to almost any music; we play a variety ranging from big band, classic rock and roll, to more modern songs.
?
We'll teach you the basic step (the rock step), and one beginner-intermediate move every week.
If you're new, keep coming back and in a few weeks you'll have enough moves to string together and build skill over time.

We are all learning. We are a friendly social space to learn and have fun free of judgment. You're welcome ask the instructors any questions anytime during the dance. Come check it out, watch, listen, chat, and try it out. Feel free to also message us!

You'll dance upon hardwood floors, enjoy the aesthetics of high vaulted ceilings with chandeliers, and relax upon banquet chairs to comfortably chat with your fellow dancers. We have a drinking fountain, restrooms, and air conditioning/heating.

We all have different financial situations, we want swing dancing to be affordable. The funds give us the potential to continue to grow. So we say, ”Pay what you can” or “Pay what you feel it’s worth to you”! Our hope is to provide a valuable night of learning, social experience, and connection! Whether that's $20, $10 or $5, we’re just grateful to be spending the night together.
