Drop in and have a go, learn some new moves, work on your technique and get your heart racing in the Shag Pile.
Collegiate Shag is a fun, fast swing dance with a smooth learning curve, and each week we start from the basics, so join us for one or two hours as suits. Do come early so you're ready to dance.
Our curriculum focuses on the music - and musicians - that inspired the original Shag dancers.
No partner required - just rock up.
Please bring flexible flat soled shoes and a bottle of water.
6:45 pm: Doors open
7:00 pm: Intro & first hour
8:00 pm: Second hour
9:00 pm: Recap
Then it's off to the Camel Pub for refreshments and chat.
The option not to rotate partners remains in place for the comfort of students.
